Please remember one problem, one consultation. Should you need to discuss more than one problem please book a double appointment.
If you have an urgent medical problem that you feel needs attention on the same day, please explain this to our Reception Staff who will invoke our telephone triage service to deal with such urgent requests.
Urgent medical problems will be dealt with on the day although the appointment may not be with your chosen GP. If you wish to see a specific GP it is advisable to book up to two weeks in advance. If your need is urgent you will be offered the first available appointment. Please remember to cancel any unwanted appointments so that we may offer them to other patients.
Sick notes are not classed as emergency on the day appointments.
We urge you to call as early in the day as possible preferably between 8.00 - 9.00 am

In order to prioritise patient needs our receptionists have been requested by the GPs to ask certain questions in strictest confidence. This enables us to triage our appointment system effectively.
Should you need to speak with a Clinician please leave a message with the receptionist who will pass it on to the relevant member of staff.
The online appointment facility is ONLY for booking ROUTINE, 10 minute G.P. face-to-face appointments.

If it is a MEDICAL EMERGENCY, or you have an URGENT medical problem, DO NOT use the online appointment facility.

All administrative queries should be directed to the receptionist.
