It would be helpful if we know the reason for the appointment so that the appropriate amount of time can be allocated.
Treatment room appointments available with our Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant for attention to dressings, removal of sutures ear syringing etc as instructed by the doctor or hospital.
Phlebotomist will be available for blood tests please make an appointment at the reception desk.

Travel Vaccinations
If you require travel vaccinations you will need to have these done at least 4 weeks prior to travel. Please book in to see our Practice Nurse stating to the receptionist which country you are visiting.

- Family planning
- Antenatal clinic is held on Wednesday and Friday by our midwives Fiona and Mel
- Postnatal checks and baby vaccinations.
Postnatal checks are done when the baby is 8 weeks old, in line with your baby's first vaccinations. Appointments are sent through the post. Subsequent child development checks and immunisations given by the practice nurse contact the surgery for an appointment. These checks also allow an opportunity to discuss other problems eg sleeping, feeding, and child health worries.
Chaperones
If you require a chaperone for an intimate examination please see the receptionist. If at the time it is not possible we will arrange an appointment so that a member of staff is free to accompany you. This applies to male and female patient
Cervical Smears
We recommend that all women 25 to 49 years of age have smears every three years. Those aged 50-64 should be every five years. More information here.

Flu Vaccination
We recommend that anyone with heart or chest trouble or diabetes, and everyone over the age of 65 should have a vaccination every autumn to prevent Flu. Watch for our posters in the surgery waiting room. More information about the vaccine, including who can have it, here.
Pneumococcal vaccination
Pneumococcal vaccination helps prevent pneumonia in vulnerable groups and in most cases lasts for life. More information about the vaccine, including who can have it, here.
Shingles Vaccination
If you are over 70 you may be eligible for a Shingles vaccination, more information about the vaccine, including who can have it, here. Please ask at the surgery.
Breast Screening
Invitations will sent to you when you become eligible. It is important that you attend these screenings. More information here.
Chronic Disease Management
Review appointments for these conditions are held each year in the month of your birthday. Please contact the surgery if you have not received your letter with notification of the appointment.
Non NHS Examinations
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside of surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. The fees charged for these services are in line with the BMA recommended charges.
Patients 75 years and over
If you are 75 years of age or over, you should be seen annually, either by your doctor, the practice nurse or the district nurse. This can be arranged at the surgery or, if that is not possible, a home visit will be arranged.
Ear Clinic
Please ask reception for more information. Please note that olive oil must be inserted in advance of your appointment.
COPD Clinic
COPD appointments are by appointment only with one of the practice nurses, please contact the practice to make an appointment.
